Fashionable commuter wear

Giving or receiving a scarf over the Christmas holidays is the stuff of cliché but Vespertine's Sashay is just different enough to break that stereotype.

Functional for commuter-style cycling, yet fashionable enough to wear off the bike, this 98 percent Australian wool tweed scarf has 3M reflective yarn stealthily woven into it. And it's not just a little section of reflective stripping, either – the entire scarf lights up when in the spotlight.

The Sashay is fairly lightweight but offers plenty of warmth around the neck while pedaling through the streets on cold Colorado nights. Our Extra Long version measures in at 82in by 6.5in, which lends itself to plenty of wear options.

For extra nighttime visibility, the Sashay can be worn as a sash, with the help of a single button to keep it in place. In ‘sash mode’, the reflective surface area is in the ballpark of a traditional reflective safety vest, but doesn't come close to the embarrassment of wearing said safety vest.

Overall, Vespertine's Sashay is a great product for cyclists who share the streets with cars on cool or cold nights. It's expensive, but for the quality and quantity produced, it's not overpriced.
