It was quite a stringing together of artisans in Pasadena this weekend, as the Pasadena Bead & Design Show started the year with a three-day mecca of handcraft and design at the Hilton Pasadena.
More than 200 artisan exhibit and workshops brought together artists, artisans, who showcased their beads, clothing, jewelry-making and vintage wares.
There was something old-world bazaar about it, as aisles were filled with artisans who have spent decades working on their skills.
The show was produced by Garan-Beadagio, LLC, which produces 14 annual shows in Pasadena, Santa Monica, Walnut Creek, San Rafael and Tucson.
